Expanding Village Savings and Loan Associations Across Two States

Since 2001, WDG's Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) have reached over 20,000 people across Western Bahr el Ghazal and Warrap States. Through group savings, small loans, and enterprise training, women who once had no access to formal finance are now building businesses, paying school fees, and investing in their households. Our teams continue to establish new groups and strengthen financial record-keeping among members, ensuring the model remains sustainable and community-owned.
