Rabha Elis Bandas is the Executive Director of WDG, leading the management team (secretariat) in implementing the organization’s programs, engaging donors and partners, and ensuring accountability to the affected populations WDG serves.

The current seven-member, all-female board was constituted in February 2023. Elected by the General Assembly every two years, it provides strategic oversight and safeguards WDG's accountability to communities, partners, and donors.

Christina Evodio Bakhit serves as Treasurer, overseeing the board’s stewardship of WDG’s finances and assets in line with the organization’s financial and anti-corruption policies.

The Secretariat
Management Team
The management team, known as the secretariat, is appointed by the Board and led by the Executive Director. It directs the organization; implements policies, programs, and projects; engages donors; recruits staff; and coordinates with stakeholders, including government, while managing accountability to the affected populations WDG serves.
The secretariat comprises the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Program Manager, Human Resources, Finance, the Program Team, Logistics, and Security, supported by community mobilizers, volunteers, and support staff. WDG adheres to codes of conduct and to PSEA, anti-corruption, HR, finance, and procurement policies.
